These aid climbing ladders are known as Aiders in America but more commonly known as Etriers in the UK. This five rung version is made from 1" (25mm) tape.
These are well designed and well made.
If you are ordering a pair it is well worth getting two of different colours as this will prevent tangles and make them easier to sort out.
