Daisy Chain slings can be useful for quick adjustments to the length of a rope set up but most should only be used for static loads and aid climbing. This is because the strength of the individual loops is usually not very high.
A few specialist ones are much stronger as each loop is individually sewn and these are suitable for use as belay systems.
