A small two person single-skin tent for high altitude use. Although it is a conventional 2-pole, Bibler-style bivouac tent, what sets it apart from the competition is Crux's new and quite unique, X-tex fabric which they rate as being considerably more breathable than existing PTFE-type breathable membrane fabrics that are currently used on other similar tents.
Another advantage is that the poles are inserted through external pole sleeves, making it quicker and easier to pitch, and this also means that the guy points loop around the poles themselves, taking stress directly off the seams.
- Central roof vent.
- Mesh panel in door.
- Poles inserted through external pole sleeves.
- Eight guy points.
Please note that this tent no longer has a "doughnut" tie-in point. This is not because it is not a good idea, but that Rab own the patent to it.
