The Bob Graham Round of 42 peaks is one of the most demanding mountain challenges in England. It involves some 28,500ft (ca 8 687m) of ascent and covers 74 miles. It starts and finishes at the Moot Hall in Keswick.
The Bob Graham Round is now famous throughout the UK and every summer contenders gather at Keswick's Moot Hall prior to making their attempts at covering the 42 listed Lakeland Peaks within the 24 hours allowed. This booklet tells the history of the round and has a map showing the peaks.
This 1:40,000 map shows the whole of the "Bob" divided into its five stages and giving the recommended time for each. It is very lightweight and printed on waterproof paper.
